Yandex Disk is a shareware (up to 20GB) virtual storage of information to which you can upload files from any device connected to the Internet and just as easily download them from there. That is, there is no need to download information to a USB flash drive and carry it with you everywhere! It is enough to upload it to the virtual Disk once and that’s it, it is always freely available. In addition, you do not have to worry that the storage medium will deteriorate, be lost, data will be erased (I had this on a portable hard disk in a terabyte volume). So all this beauty is also free up to certain volumes. From all sides the same advantages in my opinion. Recommend!

A fairly large volume on a free plan. True, you need to do a little trick. Initially, the free volume is 10 GB. But if you turn on automatic uploading of photos from your phone to Yandex.Disk, then you will be added another 32 GB for free use. Then this function can be turned off, and the final volume will remain the same - 42 GB.

I also really like the screenshot editor, I often use it. It is very easy to select an area, edit a screen, save it to a folder and send it to a messenger, or mail for Old Believers ... :)

The only thing Yandex.Disk really lacks is joint (simultaneous) work with documents , so it’s not the only one, but one of three!

I may be wrong, but @ Yandex.Disk is one of the first cloud services on the Russian market. It appeared in 2012. By that time, I had heard about @Dropbox and even tried to use it, but something did not work. But when Yandex.Disk appeared, it was reported in a mild form in the Yandex mail: it was necessary to download something, download and install the program, and for this they immediately gave + GB. Everything was convenient, so it stuck. When I decided to migrate to a Linux-based OS, Disk did not leave me here either: there is an excellent console solution with folder synchronization on a PC. On the tablet, it is also hooked up, the use does not cause any complaints. I never let you down. Deleting files insures with a basket.

From the very first day with Disk, I managed to accumulate 50 + GB, of which only 2.5 GB by invitation, Yandex distributed the rest itself on various occasions, including every year in the birthday of the mail adds GB, it’s nice)) By the way, my wife had some kind of failure with the disk and she was charged +200 real GB of space for this. To be honest, we did not notice a failure, but we appreciated the profit from gigabytes. This characterizes Yandex on the positive side.
